The University Launches Erasmus Project in Dublin, Ireland"

The university launched Erasmus Project, where the Policy and Conflict Resolution Studies Center has won the Erasmus Project award under the title of “Strengthening National Research Capacity in Policy, Conflict Resolution and Reconciliation in cooperation with Palestinian and European universities”.

A training session for a group of researchers

Policy and Conflict Resolution Studies Center organized A training session for a group of researchers from Hebron University , Arab American University and Islamic university from Gaza via Skype. This training is part of the Erasmus Project "“Strengthening of National Research Capacity on Policy & Conflict Resolution and Reconciliation Project”

Preventing Violence and Promoting Peace in Colombia

Policy & Conflict Resolution Studies Center (PCRSC) hosted Diego Checa Hidalgo, a Lecturer in Contemporary History at the Institute of Peace and Conflict at the University of Granada. The Arab American University Ramallah campus graciously received students and academics in order for Mr. Hidlago to give a talk titled, “Preventing Violence and Promoting Peace in Colombia”.

launched in the University of Granada in Spain. Eight students from (Masters of Conflict Resolution and Masters of Intercultural Communications) of the Faculty of Graduate Studies at AAUP participated in the training course, along with four BA students from the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences and the Faculty of Arts from Hebron University.

















A TRAINING COURSE ABOUT CONFLICT RESOLUTION AND RECONCILIATION

The Policy and Conflict Resolution Studies Center in Arab American University organized an electronic training course of 7 meetings about “Conflict Resolutions and Reconciliation” for the students of Islamic University of Gaza. 20 students from different BA and MA programs participated in the course.
Ms. Rula Shahwan- the Director of Erasmus+ Project_ that is applied under the supervision of the Policy and Conflict Resolution Studies Center_ said that this course comes as part of Erasmus+ project activities entitled “Raise national competence in conflict resolution and reconciliation researches” funded by the European Union with partnership with the Islamic University of Gaza, Hebron University, Friedrich-Schiller-Universitat Jena- Germany and Granada University. This Course aims to raise educational and knowledge competence for students in Islamic University of Gaza.
















A WORKSHOP ABOUT CONFLICT RESOLUTION AND RECONCILIATION

The Policy and Conflict Resolution Studies Center in AAUP organized an online workshop about the reality of conflict resolutions and reconciliation in Palestine among the project of enhancing the national efficiency in the conflict resolution and reconciliation researches funded by the European Union under collaboration with Hebron University, Islamic University – Gaza, Friedrich-Schiller University and University of Granada.
Dr. Nidal Jayousi- the Head of Erasmus Office in Palestine introduced Erasmus+ programs and ensured on the importance of the qualitative activities that will enhance the research spirit between the students and academics in the Palestinian universities.
the research process was divided into three parts: the first part was done by the Islamic University in Gaza, the second part was done in the middle and northern of the West Bank led by AAUP and the third part was done by Hebron University and included the southern part of the West Bank and Jerusalem. .

THE POLICY AND CONFLICT RESOLUTION STUDIES CENTER IN AAUP ORGANIZES A TRAINING COURSE IN GERMANY

The Policy and Conflict Resolution Studies Center in AAUP organized a training course in Conflict Resolution and Internal Reconciliation for students in the Master of Conflict Resolutions and Master of Intercultural Communication. The training course that was funded by the European Union and was entitled “Promoting the National Research Capabilities in Conflict Resolution and Reconciliation” took place in Friedrich Schiller University- Germany the European partner in Erasmus project.
